UNS CHEMISTRY STUDY PROGRAM is one of the study programs at the Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam UNS Surakarta which was established based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture dated October 1, 1996 No: 0297/O/1996 regarding study programs in undergraduate programs within UNS. The establishment of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences was driven by the need for the development of basic sciences to support the development of science and technology in Indonesia, which since the 80s has been a priority program of the Directorate General of Higher Education. Since May 2, 2017 UNS CHEMISTRY STUDY PROGRAM has succeeded in obtaining A rank accreditation from the National Accreditation Board based on BAN-PT Decree No. 1293/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/V/2017.
